CWR-Warehouse Associate I

Our client, a leader in the transportation and logistics industry, is seeking a CWR-Warehouse Associate I to join their team. As a CWR-Warehouse Associate I, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, safety awareness, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CWR-Warehouse Associate I

Location: Birmingham, AL

Pay Range: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Shift: Monday through Friday, every other Saturday, 7am-4pm, with occasional later shifts based on business needs

What's the Job?

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute orders to sales associates for processing
• Read customer orders, work orders, and shipping requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or shipped
• Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for both employees and customers
• Complete work safely, adhering to all safety policies and procedures

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds
• Basic written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Availability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
• Experience in dock or warehouse operations within the transportation industry is a plus
