Logistics Claims Associate
$24.03/hr
Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
We're seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Claims Associate to manage freight claims involving damages, shortages, overages, lost shipments, and transportation issues. This role works directly with customers, carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely claim resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Process and track freight and transportation claims
- Communicate with customers throughout the claims process
- Coordinate resolution of damaged, lost, short, or overage shipments
- Work with carriers and freight forwarders on claim settlements
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and system updates
- Generate weekly claims status reports
- Assist with SOP updates and process improvements
- Provide backup support for Customer Success activities
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organization and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience preferred
