PSAE - Shipping/Receiving Associate

Our client, a logistics and warehouse operations team, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Associate to join their team. As a Shipping/Receiving Associate, you will be part of the warehouse operations group supporting day-to-day fulfillment and inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will bring a strong focus on detail, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment—skills that will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Associate

Location: Allentown, PA

Shift: 1st and 2nd Shift

What's the Job?

• Receive shipments by unloading, inspecting, and tallying incoming deliveries while checking items against packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices to record damages or shortages.
• Prepare, stage, and package outgoing orders, ensuring orders are ready for shipment and properly documented.
• Manage transport documentation (including bills of lading) and coordinate local customer pickups or carrier dispatches.
• Maintain inventory control by entering transaction data into computer databases, managing stock locations, and keeping accurate inventory records.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, and shrink-wrap machinery) safely and in line with warehouse guidelines, while keeping the work area clean and compliant with safety regulations.

What's Needed?

• Ability to verify inventory paperwork accurately and consistently (packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices).
• Experience operating warehouse material handling equipment such as Sit Down Forklifts and Pallet Jacks, following established safety procedures.
• Comfort working with computer databases to enter and track inventory transactions and stock locations.
• Strong attention to detail when inspecting, tallying, and documenting damages or shortages.
• Commitment to housekeeping and safety practices to maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
