Our client, a leader in analytical instruments, life science reagents, laboratory equipment, and pharmaceutical services, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to join their team. As a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator, you will be part of the Operations team supporting cross-functional order fulfillment and customer delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work with others, and a commitment to following standard operating procedures which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Coordinator
Location: Madison, WI
Pay Range: $23
Shift: Days (03:00-05:00)
What's the Job?
- Follow the Buyer/Planner schedule to meet customer shipping commitments.
- Plan and execute a dynamic shipping schedule, balancing quantity and model mix of customer orders.
- Perform final configuration of customer orders, including coordinating timely software pulls for customer computer loading and assembling select line items.
- Use MRP SAP to complete inventory transfers and transactions accurately and on time.
- Identify orders with incorrect configurations and escalate or recommend changes to the Buyer/Planner; support and back up related order configuration processes.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years in a comparable warehouse/shipping/receiving environment.
- At least one year of manufacturing experience.
- Ability to work with others and contribute as a team player.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
