Supply Assurance Buyer

Our client, a leader in manufacturing support, is seeking a Supply Assurance Buyer II to join their team. As a Supply Assurance Buyer II, you will be part of the procurement department supporting the supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Supply Assurance Buyer II

Location: Hercules, CA

Pay Range: $40-$47

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Starting 3 Month Assignment

What's the Job?

• Place purchase orders for goods and services needed in support of a manufacturing facility.
• Manage supplier relationships to optimize supply chain efficiency.
• Monitor inventory and stock levels to support production and inventory goals.
• Issue material purchase orders to support production and identify potential supply issues.
• Actively manage workflow in SAP system, resolve invoice issues, and ensure supply availability.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 1-2 years of experience in purchasing or production planning fields.
• Experience expediting and issuing purchase orders.
• Proficiency with SAP MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerBI, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and multitasking skills with good organizational abilities.
