Our client, a transportation and logistics organization, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the warehouse operations team supporting day-to-day shipping and receiving activities. The ideal candidate will have strong safety awareness, reliable communication skills, and the ability to follow instructions accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Available Shifts and Pay Rates

  1. Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM | $19.00/hr
  2. Monday-Friday | 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM | $19.50/hr
  3. Tuesday-Saturday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM | $19.00/hr
  4. Tuesday-Saturday | 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM | $19.50/hr
  5. Sunday-Wednesday | 3:00 AM - 1:30 PM | $20/hr
  6. Wednesday-Saturday | 3:00 AM - 1:30 PM | $20/hr

What's the Job?

  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing orders for processing
  • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped
  • Ensure the warehouse remains accessible and safe for employee and customer traffic
  • Complete all work safely by adhering to safety policies and procedures
  • Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed

What's Needed?

  • Basic English language proficiency (spoken and written) to understand critical safety alerts, read warning labels, and follow real-time operational instructions
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds and to load and unload trucks
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form
