Accounting Manager

Our client, a well-established family-owned food manufacturing and specialty gift company, is seeking an Accounting to join their team. As an Accounting Manager, you will be part of the Finance & Administration department supporting leadership, operations, and human resources.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.


Job Title: Accounting Manager
Location: Prosser, WA
Pay Range: $53,560 to $72,280 per year DOE

What's the Job?

• Manage all accounting functions including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, cash management, and financial reporting.

• Review, reconcile, and analyze ledgers, journal entries, bank statements, and balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, prepare financial statements, and maintain internal controls to support business operations.

• Process payroll, support HR administration, maintain employee records, and assist with compliance-related activities.

• Partner closely with leadership and operations teams to provide financial insights, reporting, special analyses, and continuous process improvements.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong General Ledger, journal entry, and account reconciliation expertise.

• Thorough understanding of double-entry accounting principles, financial statement preparation, and month-end close processes.

• Experience processing payroll and supporting HR-related functions in a small to mid-sized business environment.

• Ability to identify accounting discrepancies, solve problems independently, and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

• Experience with Sage 100 (MAS 100) preferred; manufacturing, food production, or cost accounting experience is a plus.
