Manpower is currently seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant with some Payroll Clerk experience for a reputable Accounting client in the Hurricane, WV area. This is a part-time, temp-to-permanent role offering consistent hours with a well-established business.
Key Responsibilities
- Starting duties will be Administrative in Nature
- Can progress to more based on performance
- Examples below:
- Process payroll for multiple clients
- Prepare and submit payroll taxes and quarterly reports
- Set up new clients in QuickBooks for payroll processing
- Communicate with taxing authorities regarding payroll taxes, account setup, and audits
- Handle payroll audits for insurance and tax agencies
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations for various client accounts
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in payroll and bookkeeping (Required)
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
- Experience with payroll taxes, reporting, and compliance
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
