Our client, a leading logistics and transportation services provider, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be part of the Customer Support Department supporting the logistics operations team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Customer Service Representative 

Location: Belleville, MI

Pay Range: $20

Shift: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

What's the Job?

  • Track and trace shipments for customers, ensuring timely updates and accurate information
  • Review and process orders, including verifying special requests and required documentation
  • Generate and manage paperwork for customer work orders
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to orders, shipments, inventory, and billing
  • Resolve customer complaints professionally and in a timely manner

What's Needed?

  • Previous customer service and/or logistics experience preferred (track & trace experience highly desirable)
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to work across multiple systems and dual monitors
  • High level of accuracy in data entry and verification
  • Comfortable handling phone and email communication in a professional manner
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
