Our client, a transportation and logistics organization, is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate I, you will be part of the warehouse operations team supporting fast, accurate freight movement. The ideal candidate will have strong safety awareness, reliable communication skills, and a hands-on work ethic that aligns successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CWR-Warehouse Associate I

Location: Smyrna, DE

Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.50

Shift: Day shift and night shift available

What's the Job?

  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing orders for processing
  • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped
  • Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for employee and customer traffic
  • Complete all work safely by adhering to safety policies and procedures
  • Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed

What's Needed?

  • Basic English language proficiency (spoken and written) to understand critical safety alerts, read warning labels, and follow real-time operational instructions
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds and ability to load and unload trucks
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, due to varying freight volumes
