Distribution and Material Handler and Forklift Operator

Job Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment safely
- Pick, move, store, and transfer materials throughout the warehouse
- Pack, label, and prepare products for shipment
- Complete inventory counts and material transactions
- Inspect inbound and outbound trailers
- Ensure products are properly identified, counted, and handled with care
- Follow stock rotation procedures and maintain organized inventory
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety, and food defense procedures
- Observe material segregation requirements
- Follow all quality standards, work instructions, and safety policies
- Assist in other warehouse areas as needed
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience preferred
- Forklift experience required
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and write legibly
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Ability to recognize and address workplace issues responsibly
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and move throughout the shift
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment and perform physical labor as needed
