Our client, a financial services organization, is seeking a Loan/Accounting Clerk to join their team. As a Loan/Accounting Clerk, you will be part of the Loan Department supporting the daily operations and financial processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Loan/Accounting Clerk
Location: Johnstown, PA
Pay Range: Starts at $20/hor
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:15am - 4:45pm
What's the Job?
- Assist with loan applications and processing paperwork
- Handle member loan inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Perform loan servicing functions to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Conduct daily account reconciliations and general ledger entries
- Manage accounts payable and support accounting duties as needed
What's Needed?
- No formal education required, but prior experience with accounting responsibilities is preferred
- Experience in banking or financial services is helpful but not mandatory
- Proficiency in Word and Excel
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to learn and adapt to new processes quickly
