Our client, MPUSA is seeking a Parking Communications Assistant to join their team. As a Parking Communications Assistant, you will be part of the operations support function, helping coordinate parking enforcement activity through clear, accurate communication. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, confident phone and radio communication, and a practical understanding of city streets to align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Parking Communications Assistant

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Pay Range: $20/hr

Shift: 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday 12am–8am and Tuesday–Saturday 12am–8am)

What's the Job?

  • Answer incoming calls from staff, the public, MPD, and tow contractors in a professional, service-focused manner.
  • Accurately enter and update information in a web-based program while handling calls.
  • Communicate with the team using a 2-way radio to relay instructions and updates.
  • Dispatch Parking Enforcement Officers to different locations, using a general knowledge of city streets to support efficient routing.
  • Work collaboratively in an office environment as part of a small 2nd shift team.

What's Needed?

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in a communications, dispatch, customer service, or office support role.
  • Ability to accurately enter information into a web-based program while actively taking calls.
  • Comfort handling inbound calls and communicating clearly with a variety of callers.
  • Experience or familiarity using a 2-way radio for operational communication.
  • General knowledge of city streets to support dispatching and location-based coordination.
