Our client, in the industrial safety sector, is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join their team. As a Safety Coordinator, you will be part of the safety management team supporting operational safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Safety Coordinator

Location: San Jose, CA

Pay Range: $35

Shift: Monday to Friday

What's the Job?

  • Develop and implement company safety policies to ensure a secure work environment
  • Coordinate and conduct safety training sessions for employees
  • Perform safety orientations for new hires to familiarize them with safety protocols
  • Conduct safety evaluations across multiple job sites to identify hazards
  • Lead safety meetings and perform PPE inspections regularly

What's Needed?

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in the general industry safety field
  • Experience in reporting and developing safety policies
  • Proven experience in implementing safety training programs
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills
  • Strong computer skills for administrative and reporting tasks
