Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Our client, a warehouse and logistics operations team, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join their team. As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, you will be part of the Warehouse Operations department supporting day-to-day execution across receiving, inventory accuracy, and shipment readiness. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the drive to keep workflows moving smoothly—which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Pay Range: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Perform receiving inspection (RI) to ensure incoming materials are accurately received, verified, and documented.
• Support inventory management by completing cycle counts, inventory transactions, stock movements, and material reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and help resolve inventory discrepancies to protect shipment accuracy.
• Follow established warehouse procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements to keep operations running reliably.
• As you grow in the role, assist with shipping functions including order preparation, packaging, labeling, shipment verification, and transfer order processing.

What's Needed?

• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory control experience preferred.
• Must have computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality in every transaction and record.
• Ability to accurately handle inventory transactions and maintain detailed records.
• Basic computer and data entry skills to support inventory documentation and processing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials in accordance with warehouse requirements; forklift experience is a plus.
