Warehouse Associate

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to join their team in Woodridge, IL. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the warehouse team supporting shipping, receiving, inventory, and material handling operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate I  1st Shift
Location: Woodridge, IL 60517
Pay Range: $18.00 per hour
Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM

What’s the Job?

• Pick, pack, wrap, and prepare products for shipment.
• Verify products, product numbers, and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
• Load and unload trucks and containers and move materials to the correct storage areas.
• Receive, process, stock, rotate, and replenish inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment while identifying and reporting missing, lost, or damaged materials.

What’s Needed?

• Must be at least 18 years old and have basic English comprehension.
• Ability to lift/carry and push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Experience operating Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT), forklifts, or material handling equipment is preferred. Candidates who are comfortable learning to operate PIT equipment may also be considered.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, perform different warehouse functions, work flexible hours, and work overtime when required.
• Must live within 50 miles of Woodridge, IL and successfully complete the required background check and drug screen.

Important: Safety shoes are required for orientation and Day 1. Candidates who arrive without safety shoes will not be permitted to start. Employees should be prepared to work through the end of the shift after orientation.
