Schedule: Monday-Wednesday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; Thursday, 8:00 AM-7:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM-12:00 PM
Why This Role Matters
As a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist, you'll play a key role in supporting both patients and providers through a variety of clinical and administrative responsibilities. Your attention to detail, professionalism, and patient-focused approach will help ensure efficient operations and high-quality care delivery.
What You'll Do
• Prepare patients for provider visits by documenting chief complaints, vital signs, and intake information
• Perform ECGs and assist providers with examinations and clinical procedures
• Collect blood and urine specimens according to established protocols and provider orders
• Process and submit laboratory specimens using designated laboratory systems
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked exam and laboratory rooms
• Schedule patient appointments and conduct reminder and follow-up calls as needed
• Answer phones, manage medical records, and handle administrative documentation
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines, privacy regulations, and infection control standards
What We're Looking For
• A current, up-to-date resume
• Vocational or technical degree in Medical Assisting from an accredited institution or current CMA/CCMA certification
• Previous phlebotomy experience required
• Experience using EMR systems and basic computer applications
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Ability to remain composed and professional in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
• Must be eligible and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
