Phlebotomist III - Floater

Location: Indianapolis, IN
Pay Rate: $28/hr
Employment Type: Contingent (Daytime)
Schedule: Core hours M-F, 6am-6:30pm (up to 8 hours per day)

What You'll Do

• Perform venipuncture on pediatric, geriatric, and adult patients with skill and accuracy
• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
• Verify patient demographics and ensure proper specimen labeling with patient confirmation
• Maintain accurate documentation and records
• Travel to multiple locations within a 30-mile radius to support staffing needs
• Create a safe, professional, and patient-focused environment at all times

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Previous experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record
• Flexibility to travel and adapt to changing schedules and locations
• Basic data entry and computer skills
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
