Assistant Quality Technician

Our client, Food Manufacturing is seeking a Assistant Quality Technician to join their team. As a Assistant Quality Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance (QA) team supporting finished product and ingredient testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to food safety, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn across QA areas, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assistant Quality Technician

Location: Mechanicsburg, PA

Pay Range: $21.18

Shift: 2 positions available:
2nd shift: Sat & Sun 12pm -12am, Mon & Tues 4pm-12am (this position will end 4/24/27)
3rd shift: Sat & Sun 12am -12pm, Thur & Fri 12am -8am (this position will end 12/26/26)

What's the Job?

• Assist with analyzing finished product using various test methods, including wet chemistry
• Perform sensory evaluations of in-process and finished product
• Review food safety, regulatory, and quality test results prior to releasing finished goods for shipment
• Assist with microbiological sampling, sample preparation, and testing as needed
• Maintain high sanitation levels in the QA lab

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of experience in quality, food manufacturing, lab, or a related environment preferred
• Ability to follow food safety and quality procedures consistently
• Comfort working in a lab environment and supporting sampling and testing activities
• PPE requirement: must bring your own steel toes; rest of PPE provided
