Automotive Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor

Our client, an industry leader in automotive manufacturing, is seeking an Automotive Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. As an Automotive Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the production and facilities teams. This person will be mentored into a Maintenance Manager over the next few years so this is a fantastic opportunity for Maintenance Leads.

Job Title: Automotive Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor

Location:Holland, Michigan

Pay Range:$90000 - $95000 base plus OT, bonus, full benefits

What's the Job?

• Lead and support maintenance activities across multiple shifts, ensuring timely and quality completion of projects
• Manage and schedule the workload of maintenance staff, motivating the team toward achieving departmental goals
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and troubleshooting work in production areas to minimize downtime
• Oversee maintenance contracts, review bids, and liaise with external vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
• Develop and manage budgets related to maintenance activities, including purchasing and inventory management

What's Needed?

• Strong mechanical, electrical, and controls background, including PLCs (Allen-Bradley and FANUC experience preferred)
• Minimum of three years related work experience, with demonstrated leadership and project management skills
• Experience with CMMS systems and reporting tools
• Experience with both automotive manufacturing equipment maintenance (70%) and facilities maintenance (30%)
• Degree preferred in a related field or equivalent experience in maintenance and facilities management
