Autonomous Vehicle Shift Supervisor

Our client, a leader in the autonomous vehicle industry, is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Operations Supervisor to join their team. As an Autonomous Vehicle Operations Supervisor, you will be part of the Fleet Operations organization supporting a team of Vehicle Operators. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Autonomous Vehicle Operations Supervisor
Location: Austin, TX 78741
Pay Range: $42/hr.
Schedule: Tu-Sa (3:45pm-12:15am)

What’s the Job?

• Supervise and support a team of Vehicle Operators in day-to-day fleet operations while promoting a safety-focused and collaborative work environment.
• Lead by example by working alongside the team to ensure vehicle operations and testing activities are completed safely and to high operational standards.
• Coach and mentor team members, providing regular written and verbal performance feedback.
• Complete administrative responsibilities related to team coordination, scheduling, and operational needs.
• Partner with Fleet Operations leadership and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, improve operational efficiency, and support missions in and out of vehicles.

What’s Needed?

• 12+ months of autonomous vehicle operator experience and an active AVT permit.
• Experience working in a highly collaborative environment with a strong teamwork mentality.
• Proven ability to problem-solve and improve operational efficiency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues to team members and management.
• Excellent driving history with a proactive, resourceful, and safety-focused approach.
