Building Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading commercial real estate and facilities services organization, is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Building Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Management team supporting building operations and maintenance services. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive customer service mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician

Location: 4665 Cornell Road, Cincinnati, OH 45241, United States

Pay Range: $29.00 - $31.00/hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Shift 1)

Contract type: Contract to hire (potential extension)
 

What’s the Job?

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general facility issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete repairs efficiently.
• Inspect facilities for safety hazards and ensure compliance with company safety standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair projects.

What’s Needed?

• 5-7 years of building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related experience.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and troubleshooting equipment.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and solve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills, with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions.
