Our client, a facilities and building services organization, is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Building Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Maintenance team supporting building operations. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail and a customer-service mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician

Location: Tucker, GA

Pay Range: 30-31/hr

What’s the Job?

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general building systems, including basic HVAC tasks such as changing filters and belts.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing and general building issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Inspect buildings and premises for safety hazards and perform necessary maintenance to maintain a safe working environment.
• Respond to maintenance requests and coordinate with external contractors when specialized repairs are required.
• Maintain tools and supplies inventory and accurately document completed maintenance and repair activities.

 What’s Needed?

• 5–7 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field.
• Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools and the ability to diagnose and perform general repairs independently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and safely perform maintenance work in various working conditions.
