Building Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading commercial real estate and facilities services organization, is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician 3 to join their team. As a Building Maintenance Technician 3, you will be part of the Facilities & Building Operations Department supporting the Property Management and Maintenance Team. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to safety and customer service, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range: $28.00/hour

What’s the Job?

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general facility issues.
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Inspect building facilities for safety hazards and perform corrective maintenance.
• Coordinate with contractors and maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation.

What’s Needed?

• 5-7 years of building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related experience.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs independently.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and the ability to work safely in various environments.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
