Our client, a leading organization in pharmaceutical manufacturing, is seeking a Calibration Technician to join their team. As a Calibration Technician, you will be part of the Engineering & Maintenance department supporting a dedicated team of maintenance, HVAC technicians, plumbers, and electricians. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, service, setup, and repairs on process instruments and related systems associated with GMP/GLP process-related equipment.
  • Maintain electrical equipment to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
  • Support long-term research studies, lab facilities, and pilot plant operations by ensuring electrical and instrumentation systems are functioning optimally.
  • Troubleshoot problems on instrument loops and control logic, calibrate transmitters, actuators, and sensors.
  • Document work activities and assist with IQ/OQ (Installation Qualification/Operation Qualification) procedures on various equipment.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of a 2-year Associate Degree in Electronics or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of field electronic equipment experience related to calibration, repair, and servicing of process instrumentation.
  • Ability to use CMMS systems and email effectively.
  • Experience working in a commercial or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of safety practices including PPE, shop safety, and confined space entry (preferred but not necessary).
