Our client, a leader in the technology industry, is seeking a Construction Program Manager to join their team. As a Construction Program Manager, you will be part of the Lease Construction and Fitout Program support team, aligned to the Execution Operational Planning (EOP) function. The ideal candidate will have disciplined program execution, strong cross-functional coordination, and the ability to operationalize strategy into clear plans, milestones, and accountable next steps.
Job Title: Construction Program Manager 3
Location: Hoffman Estates, IL (Hybrid) (Occasional travel may be required)
Pay Range: $77/hr to $82/hr on W2
Contract Duration: 6 months (high possibility of extension up to 18 months total)
What's the Job?
- Drive assigned programs, initiatives, and workstreams from planning through execution, implementation, and closeout.
- Translate objectives into clear plans, milestones, owners, dependencies, deliverables, and target dates—then maintain accountability to completion.
- Coordinate across internal teams, subject matter experts, and project stakeholders to advance work through working sessions, reviews, and program forums.
- Maintain program governance by tracking status, milestones, dependencies, risks, actions, and decisions using initiative trackers, action logs, schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Produce leadership-ready reporting and meeting documentation (including notes within 24 hours of assigned meetings) that clearly captures decisions, action items, owners, target dates, and unresolved topics.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant program and/or project management experience, including independently managing multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Demonstrated ability to create and manage project plans, milestones, actions, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder commitments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize information and communicate program status to multiple stakeholder levels.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook) and the ability to quickly learn internal tools and processes.
