Cost Engineer

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and engineering, is seeking a Cost Engineer to join their team. As a Cost Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the manufacturing and development teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cost Engineer

Location: Chandler, AZ (Remote work available)

Pay Range: $85 - $115 Hourly

What's the Job?

• Analyze and control manufacturing costs to ensure project profitability and efficiency.
• Support cost estimation and budgeting processes for manufacturing projects.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Monitor project expenses and provide detailed reports to management.
• Assist in developing cost reduction strategies while maintaining quality standards.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in cost engineering within manufacturing or engineering industries.
• Proven experience with process engineering responsibilities from tool build through production.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including defect identification and Pareto analysis.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interface effectively with customers and team members.
