Data Analyst

Our client, an autonomous ridehailing technology company, is seeking a  Part-Time Student Data Analyst to join their team. As a Data Analyst, you will be part of the Operations & Analytics team supporting fleet operations, safety, and engineering stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills, a curiosity-driven approach to problem solving, and the ability to communicate insights clearly across technical and non-technical audiences, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Part-Time Student Data Analyst

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $70-$75/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?

• Analyze vehicle telemetry, service logs, dispatch data, and operational metrics to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports that support fleet operations, safety, and engineering decision-making.
• Define, track, and report on KPIs related to fleet performance, mission success, readiness, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure datasets used for analysis are accurate, well-structured, and reliable for ongoing operational use.
• Translate operational questions into data insights by partnering closely with operations, engineering, and product teams.

What's Needed?

• Pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, data manipulation, and analysis.
• Experience working with large datasets and transforming raw data into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Available to commit to a minimum three-month assignment and at least 20 hours per week.
