Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking an Engineering Coordinator to join their team. As an Engineering Coordinator, you will be part of the Product Engineering team supporting manufacturing, production, and engineering operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and effective communication abilities that will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Engineering Coordinator
Location: San Antonio, TX
Pay Range: 28-32/hr; based on experience
What’s the Job?
- Process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), maintain change documentation, and support change control activities.
- Create, update, and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), item masters, and part numbers within ERP systems.
- Release engineering drawings and revisions while ensuring manufacturing documentation remains current and accurate.
- Track engineering deviations, compile status reports, and support investigations related to BOM, drawing, and revision history.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, planners, buyers, and production teams to ensure engineering changes are implemented successfully.
What’s Needed?
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Drafting & Design, or a related technical field.
- 0-1 years of professional experience; manufacturing internship or co-op experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including lookups, filters, and pivot tables.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and written/verbal communication skills.
