General Manager — Indiana

Our client, an electric motor repair and rewind organization is seeking a General Manager to join their team. As a General Manager, you will be part of the Spina Electric operations supporting shop, technical, and business development teams. The ideal candidate will have leadership skills, technical expertise, and customer relationship management which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: General Manager
Location: Michigan City, Indiana

What’s the Job?

  • Oversight of daily shop operations, workflow scheduling, and operational efficiency.

  • Establishment and monitoring of KPIs for productivity, quality, and profitability.

  • Technical expertise applied to AC/DC motor repair, rewinding, testing, and troubleshooting.

  • Recruitment, training, and mentoring of shop and office personnel.

  • Development of customer relationships and support for business growth initiatives.

What’s Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED; technical degree preferred.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in electric motor repair or rotating equipment services.

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership or management experience.

  • Strong knowledge of motor winding techniques, insulation systems, and testing procedures.

  • Ability to manage budgets, operations, and personnel with strong business acumen.
