Job Title: Injection Molding Setup Technician

Location: Chaska, MN  
Pay Range: $32-$38/hr plus Shift Differential  
Sign-On Bonus

Are you an experienced Injection Molding Setup Technician looking for a stable career with excellent pay, strong benefits, and opportunities for growth? We are seeking a hands-on manufacturing professional to support injection molding operations by performing mold changes, machine setups, startups, process adjustments, and troubleshooting.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex equipment, solving problems, and ensuring quality production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What is the Job:

• Set up and prepare injection molding presses for production runs
• Install and remove molds, tooling, and auxiliary equipment
• Perform machine startups and adjust processing parameters to meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to reduce downtime
• Monitor molded components for visual and dimensional accuracy
• Complete setup documentation and production records accurately
• Support daily production goals related to safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen, 6S, and waste reduction projects
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, and quality teams

What is Needed:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3+ years of injection molding setup, process technician, mold setter, or related manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with molds, presses, robots, thermolators, temperature controllers, or auxiliary equipment
• Ability to use hand tools, precision measuring devices, and mechanical equipment safely
• Basic computer skills and data entry experience
• SAP experience is a plus
• Familiarity with ISO, Lean Manufacturing, 6S, or Kaizen principles is preferred

Available Shifts & Pay

1st Shift

• Monday-Friday
• 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• $24-$28/hour

2nd Shift

• Monday-Friday
• 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• $32-$38/hour
• Additional $1.25/hour shift differential
