Mechanical Design Engineer

Our client, a leading energy and power generation company, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer IV to join their team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer IV, you will be part of the Fleet Engineering Department supporting global gas turbine engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication, and problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer IV
Location: Remote (U.S., EST preferred)
Pay Range: $59/hour

What’s the Job?

• Perform advanced structural analysis using finite element modeling (FEM)
• Conduct life assessments including fatigue, creep, and fracture mechanics
• Execute dynamic and modal analyses for gas turbine components
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) and provide technical solutions
• Present engineering findings to internal stakeholders and design teams

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in engineering design with FEA (Ansys)
• 4+ years of experience with NX (CAD)
• Experience with GD&T, engineering drawings, and PLM/Teamcenter
• Ability to work with export-controlled material (U.S. Citizen required)
