Our client, a leading automotive and engineering organization, is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join their team. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be part of the Engineering Operations team supporting Engineering, Testing, and Manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Schedule:
On-Site: 5 Days per Week.
- 2nd Shift
- Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:30 PM
- 3rd Shift
- Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM-6:30 AM
Training Period (Approx. 2 Months)
- 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM
What's the Job?
- Review and approve engineering drawings, sketches, and fabrication documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
- Support project planning by interpreting blueprints, specifications, and testing requirements.
- Supervise and perform testing of mechanical systems, components, and complete units under operational conditions.
- Analyze test results and modify equipment to ensure compliance with design and performance specifications.
- Fabricate, assemble, and improve mechanical components and equipment to support engineering projects.
What's Needed?
- Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or a related technical field.
- 8-10 years of experience in mechanical testing, fabrication, manufacturing, or engineering support.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with engineering software, technical drawings, and related computer applications.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
