Our client, a global commercial real estate and facilities management leader, is seeking a Mobile Engineer 2 to join their team. As a Mobile Engineer 2, you will be part of the Facilities Management & Engineering Operations team supporting multiple commercial client sites throughout the Mobile, Alabama territory. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent time management, and a customer-focused mindset that will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Mobile Engineer 2
Location: Mobile, Alabama
Pay Range: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM with on-call rotation responsibilities
What’s the Job?
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC systems, including packaged units, air handlers, boilers, and chillers.
- Maintain and service building systems including electrical, plumbing, building automation controls, and fire/life safety systems.
- Travel to multiple client locations within an assigned territory using a company vehicle.
- Complete work orders, inspections, and maintenance activities utilizing CMMS technology with minimal supervision.
- Build strong client relationships while identifying operational improvements and energy-saving opportunities.
What’s Needed?
- High School Diploma or GED; technical training or trade school education preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of commercial building engineering experience with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Universal EPA/CFC Certification (required).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with knowledge of MEP systems, building automation systems, and commercial facility maintenance practices.
