Mobile HVAC / R Technician

Our client, a leading commercial real estate and facilities management organization, is seeking a Mobile Engineer 3 to join their team. As a Mobile Engineer 3, you will be part of the Facilities Operations team supporting multiple commercial client sites throughout the Rochester area. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour

What’s the Job?

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Travel between multiple facilities to inspect, maintain, and repair critical building equipment and infrastructure.
• Monitor equipment performance, record operational data, and make system adjustments to ensure optimal functionality.
• Coordinate and oversee contracted maintenance vendors while maintaining quality, safety, and cost controls.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, hazardous material procedures, and facility maintenance best practices.

What’s Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
• EPA 608 Type II Certification (Universal Certification preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting skills across HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between multiple facilities.
