Mobile HVAC Technician

Our client, a facilities and building operations organization, is seeking a Mobile HVAC Technician to join their team. As a Mobile HVAC Technician, you will be part of the facility maintenance group supporting multiple assigned locations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting skills, a safety-first mindset, and the drive to keep equipment running efficiently—so client spaces stay comfortable, operational, and ready for occupancy.

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Pay Range:$36-$40/hr dependent on experience

What's the Job?

• Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment to support efficient performance and equipment life expectancy.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and installed systems and components.
• Strong focus on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment across all HVAC/R systems.
• Complete inspections and repairs for assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls, flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, and related components.
• Use CMMS systems (such as Corrigo) to update work order status in real time, submit P-card receipts daily, and maintain accurate records of past operating experiences.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Universal CFC recovery certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment).
• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering with a strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment repair and maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial refrigeration and/or supermarket refrigeration.
• Valid state driver’s license and availability for call-in work and other duties as required.
