Mobile HVAC Technician

Our client, a leading facilities management and building services organization, is seeking a Mobile HVAC Technician to join their team. As a Mobile HVAC Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Operations team supporting multiple commercial customer locations throughout the Charlotte, NC area. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, troubleshooting abilities, and a safety-focused mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
 

Job Title: Mobile HVAC Technician

Location: Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: 35/hour

What’s the Job?

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and other commercial building systems across multiple customer facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, cleaning, calibration, repairs, and component replacement on HVAC equipment.
• Handle general facility maintenance, including light plumbing, electrical, mechanical, structural, and handyman-related work.
• Travel between multiple customer locations in the Charlotte area while ensuring building systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Record equipment readings, identify problems, make necessary adjustments, and comply with all safety procedures and facility standards.

What’s Needed?

• 5-7 years of HVAC experience, working with commercial building systems.
• EPA 608 certification required; EPA Universal Certification strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems with additional skills in light plumbing, electrical, and general facility maintenance.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between multiple customer facilities throughout the workday.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, strong communication skills, and basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
