Our client, a leading organization in commercial property management, is seeking a dedicated Operating Engineer to join their team. As an Operating Engineer, you will be an essential part of the maintenance department supporting building operations and tenant satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate responsibility, clear communication, and mechanical proficiency, aligning successfully within a dynamic and diverse workplace.

Location:Brentwood, TN

What's the Job?

  • Complete assigned tasks including painting, pressure washing, and maintaining lighting systems
  • Perform plumbing, HVAC, water treatment, locksmith work, and general maintenance
  • Maintain work order system (CMMS) daily and respond to tenant service requests
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on building systems
  • Support emergency response and troubleshooting of electrical, DDC, and pneumatic controls

What's Needed?

  • At least 3 years of related experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry
  • Trade school, union training, military service, or college education preferred
  • Universal CFC EPA certification or interest in obtaining within the first year
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders up to 30 feet, and perform physical tasks regularly
