Our client, a defense and aerospace technology company, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their team. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be part of the Strategic Sourcing/Procurement department supporting cross-functional program, engineering, pricing, and supplier management teams. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and collaboration skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Procurement Specialist
Location: Phoenix AZ
Pay Range: $37.04/hour

 

What’s the Job?

  • Execute FAR 15 subcontracts in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and other applicable regulations.
  • Conduct supplier market research and evaluate supplier information to identify qualified suppliers.
  • Obtain and manage solicitation documentation, including drawings, supplier scorecards, and historical purchasing data.
  • Support subcontract negotiations involving pricing and terms and conditions.
  • Manage supplier relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement compliance and program success.


What’s Needed?

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, contracts & legal, business, or finance.
  • US Citizen required due to contractual requirements.
  • Experience supporting or executing FAR 15 subcontracting activities.
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS).
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to understand and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
