Our client, the energy industry, is seeking a Project Controls Specialist: V to join their team. As a Project Controls Specialist: V, you will be part of the integrated client/contractor project controls organization supporting project cost control and forecasting activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Project Controls Specialist: V

Location:Houston, Texas

Pay Range: $88.00-$107.00 hourly

What's the Job?

  • Lead project cost control and forecasting activities within an integrated client and contractor project controls team.
  • Develop, maintain, and control project budgets, forecasts, cash flows, and cost reports.
  • Manage monthly cost reporting, including variance analysis, trend identification, and performance insights.
  • Support change management, commitments, accruals, and cost performance tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with project controls procedures and contractual requirements to support successful project delivery.

What's Needed?

  • 10-15 years of experience in project cost management and control.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerBi, and PowerQuery.
  • Experience working in an oil/gas environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, integrated team environment.
