Job Overview

🌟 We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support the Control Tower & Field Quality team focused on Transmission and Driveline Controls and Modules. In this role, you will help drive quality improvements by leading warranty investigations, coordinating cross-functional teams, and supporting issue resolution activities across engineering, manufacturing, and supplier organizations. What’s the Job?

• Facilitate cross-functional project meetings and coordinate project schedules, agendas, meeting minutes, and communications.
• Compile project status reports and track progress against key milestones.
• Identify and analyze system requirements while supporting project scope, deliverables, and stakeholder coordination.
• Lead warranty-related issue resolution efforts, including problem-solving activities, validation plans, and progress reporting.
• Conduct warranty claim triage, review claims data, sort and bucket issues, and identify trends.
• Support vehicle reviews at dealer locations, Quality Engineering Centers, and manufacturing facilities.
• Coordinate with Stellantis teams and suppliers during quality investigations and corrective action activities.
• Establish and validate containment actions and permanent corrective actions at manufacturing and supplier plants.
• Physically review product and process changes, internal metrics, and control plan updates.
• Maintain project timelines and support ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and related project management tools to track activities and performance.

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor of Applied Science (B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering or Electronics Engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving issues related to Transmission Control Modules (TCM/TCU), Drivetrain Control Modules (DTCM), and related software/calibration functions.
• Experience with warranty claims analysis, including triage, sorting, bucketing, trend analysis, and root cause investigations.
• 1-2 years of experience in testing, validation, or test method development.
• Knowledge of transmission and driveline systems and components.
• Experience with instrumentation, data acquisition, testing equipment, or fixture design.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Project.
• Strong multitasking, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Green Belt and/or Kepner-Tregoe training preferred.
• Familiarity with quality-related metrics preferred.
• Project management experience preferred.
