Our client, a leading innovator in autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking a Release Coordinator to join their team. As a Release Coordinator, you will be part of the Release Management department supporting cross-divisional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Release Coordinator

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $34.96/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?

  • Coordinate all aspects of the software release process, ensuring timely and reliable delivery of updates.
  • Collaborate with Development, QA, and vehicle operations teams to track progress and meet release milestones.
  • Analyze release blockers, track test results, and facilitate successful resolution of issues.
  • Evaluate and improve existing release management processes and procedures for increased efficiency.
  • Automate manual release processes using programming languages and AI tools to streamline workflows.

What's Needed?

  • 0-2 years of experience working with large, complex products or systems.
  • Understanding of software version control systems, especially git and command line interfaces.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities.
  • Experience in defining release readiness criteria and ensuring all changes meet these criteria prior to deployment.
  • Ability to automate manual processes using programming languages such as Python and AI tools like ChatGPT, Co-Pilot, or similar.
