Our client, a global supplier of advanced materials, specialty chemicals, and process solutions used in the semiconductor (chip manufacturing) industry, is seeking a Scientist II, Production Analytical Chemist to join their team. As a Scientist II, Production Analytical Chemist, you will be part of the production analytical chemistry group supporting manufacturing operations and quality-focused analytical testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and quality, a results-driven mindset with meticulous attention to detail, and the technical confidence to operate and troubleshoot advanced analytical instrumentation in a cleanroom/laboratory environment.

Salary: $71,500- $95,000 + 10% Bonus

1st Shift & 2nd Shift openings (Wednesday-Saturday, 2pm-12am)

What's the Job?

  • Operate and troubleshoot advanced analytical instruments to test production samples and support product quality in a cleanroom/laboratory setting.
  • Analyze, review, and communicate analytical results by processing data, maintaining accurate documentation, and resolving issues to ensure traceability and validity.
  • Maintain instrumentation, tools, chemicals, and consumables required for routine and non-routine QC analysis.
  • Support continuous improvement by proposing, leading, or assisting with initiatives for new or existing testing methods and practices.
  • Serve as a laboratory subject matter expert by promoting safety and quality culture, collaborating cross-functionally, and training others after comprehensive onboarding.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry or related (Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology) required.
  • 2+ years of experience operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining analytical instrumentation (including LC, LC-MS, IC, IC-MS, GC, GC-MS, ICP-MS, ICP-OES).
  • Hands-on experience with trace metal analysis and strong familiarity with cleanroom or high-volume laboratory environments.
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office); LIMS experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to safely handle and dispose of chemicals, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and complete lab work accurately and independently.
