Our client, an infrastructure and construction services organization, is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to join their team. As a Senior Construction Project Manager, you will be part of the project delivery organization supporting the client and internal stakeholders across multiple active construction efforts. The ideal candidate will have end-to-end project leadership, strong budgeting and forecasting discipline, and the ability to communicate clearly with architects, contractors, and executive-level partners, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Construction Project Manager

Location: Worcester, MA (work from home based with travel throughout Massachusetts; office is home office; travel to job sites minimum every other week, likely once or twice per week)

Pay Range: $70-80/hr

What's the Job?

  • Develop and execute project goals, master schedules, budgets, and delivery strategy while managing performance against critical milestones and KPIs.
  • Prepare and manage RFPs for architectural and construction services, including vendor/contractor selection and onboarding, and oversee the submittal process with the A&E team.
  • Forecast monthly spend across multiple projects aligned with the client’s capital plan, while coordinating meetings and due diligence efforts as needed.

What's Needed?

  • 5+ years as a Project Manager or similar role with hands-on experience leading construction projects (not a first non-GC project management role).
  • Proven ability to manage budgeting, scheduling, submittals, and change orders, with strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of architectural drawings and the construction process, including interior fitout and building infrastructure projects.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects (typically 10–12 projects) ranging from $200K+ and potentially up to $2M, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office applications and MS Project, plus strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with architects, contractors, and client representatives.

What's in it for me?

  • Opportunity to lead owner’s representative work across a diverse portfolio including building infrastructure, boilers, chillers, generators, roofs, cooling towers, parking lots, and interior renovations of occupied spaces.
  • Ownership of the full delivery lifecycle—scope, design coordination, contractor management, commissioning, and closeout—so your decisions directly shape outcomes.
  • Exposure to complex, multi-project environments where forecasting, scheduling, and stakeholder communication are central to success.
  • Clear structure for how projects are assigned and executed, including RFP development, A&E management, and contractor mobilization through punchlist and closeout.
