As a Senior Equipment Engineering Technician, you will be an integral part of the Equipment Engineering department supporting manufacturing operations. Job Title: Senior Equipment Engineering Technician
Location: Fremont, CA
Pay Range: $30 to $45 per hour
Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00pm-10:30pm ES (2nd shift)
What's the Job?
- Support and maintain high-speed automated manufacturing equipment across various production lines.
- Diagnose and repair complex automated equipment, including PLC and HMI systems.
- Participate in the commissioning of new automated systems and ensure all devices operate as designed.
- Install, start-up, and support vision systems for tracking and quality inspections.
- Analyze production data to identify opportunities for safety improvements, cost reductions, and quality enhancements.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 9+ years experience in a high-capacity manufacturing environment preferred.
- Associate degree or technical certification in Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or Industrial Maintenance required.
- Experience with automated equipment, PLC programming, and industrial control systems.
- Knowledge of safety standards, ergonomic practices, and equipment requirement development.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
