Our client, a leading energy and advanced manufacturing organization, is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer - CNC Programming to join their team. As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer - CNC Programming, you will be part of the Manufacturing Engineering team supporting CNC Machining Operations, Process Development, and Continuous Improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a hands-on manufacturing mindset that will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer - CNC Programming (NX CAM & 5-Axis Machining)
Location: Greenville, SC
Pay Range: $60.11/hour

What's the Job?

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs using Siemens NX CAM for complex machining operations.
  • Program and support large-format machining equipment including VTLs, VBMs, and 5-axis machining centers.
  • Validate CNC programs using Vericut and implement Renishaw probing routines for process control and quality assurance.
  • Provide daily shop-floor support, troubleshooting, operator training, and machining process improvements.
  • Lead manufacturing initiatives focused on improving safety, quality, delivery performance, and cost efficiency.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum 4 years of CNC programming experience using a graphical CAM system, preferably Siemens NX CAM.
  • Experience creating 5-axis CNC programs (3+2 and/or simultaneous 5-axis machining).
  • Experience with Vericut or similar CNC simulation and machine verification software.
  • Strong hands-on manufacturing or machinist background with setup and first-piece prove-out experience.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and machine tight-tolerance components on large machining platforms.
