As a Technical Professional II – Level 2 Automotive Technical Support Specialist, you will serve as a key technical resource, helping diagnose complex vehicle concerns, supporting frontline teams, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for experienced dealership technicians who enjoy problem-solving, advanced diagnostics, and collaborating with others to resolve challenging automotive issues.
What’s the Job?

Provide advanced diagnostic support for complex vehicle concerns and repair recommendations

Assist and guide Level 1 agents in identifying root causes and successful repair solutions

Manage escalated technical cases and determine appropriate next steps for resolution

Review and analyze technical cases to identify trends, emerging issues, and opportunities for improvement

Perform follow-ups on Level 2 support cases and coordinate escalation activities when necessary

Support root cause analysis and calibration efforts to improve dealer satisfaction

Provide feedback to team leads and trainers regarding agent development and training needs

Assist with new vehicle launches and Field Early Warranty programs

Maintain knowledge of vehicle technologies, diagnostic procedures, and case management processes

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve diagnostic quality and issue resolution
What’s Needed?
-
Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on dealership technician experience working on vehicles
-
Preferred 3–5 years of dealership technician experience
-
Strong automotive technical knowledge including engine, electrical, transmission, and vehicle diagnostic systems

Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing complex vehicle issues

Comfortable working within a structured ticketing, case management, or technical support environment

Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

Candidates without a degree must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant dealership experience

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

ASE Certification is preferred but not required

Willingness to obtain ASE Certification after hire is welcomed

Previous call center or technical support experience is a plus

Experience supporting OEM vehicle brands is helpful but not required
