Our client, a leading innovator in the automotive and technology industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Technical Program Manager - Body & Closures to join their dynamic team. As a Technical Program Manager - Body & Closures, you will be an integral part of the engineering and manufacturing support team, collaborating closely with mechanical engineers and external vendors to ensure project success. Job Title: Technical Program Manager - Body & Closures

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $88/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?

• Build, maintain, and communicate detailed project schedules for mechanisms, sealing, and structural integration to ensure timely delivery.
• Act as a programmatic interface with external suppliers, tracking hardware build plans and coordinating part deliveries to meet project milestones.
• Maintain bug and issue trackers (e.g., Jira), follow up on root cause analysis, and facilitate meetings to resolve hardware issues efficiently.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication between mechanical engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and validation teams to support project alignment.
• Conduct packaging investigations or manage clash analysis utilizing tools such as CATIA, NX, or SolidWorks to optimize CAD and packaging design processes.

What's Needed?

• 2–4 years of experience in project management, technical program management, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering.
• Exposure to physical product development lifecycles, including design, sourcing, validation, and build, preferably in automotive, robotics, aerospace, or consumer electronics sectors.
• Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or MS Project for project tracking and collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
