Our client, a leading aerospace and advanced manufacturing organization, is seeking a Buyer/Planner to join their team. As a Buyer/Planner, you will be part of the Procurement and Supply Chain team supporting sourcing, supplier management, and production planning functions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder management abilities, and strategic problem-solving capabilities which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Buyer/Planner
Location: Urbana, OH (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 remote; first 90 days onsite)
Pay Range: $32/hour

What’s the Job?

• Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective sourcing while maintaining quality and supplier performance.
• Manage procurement projects including supplier selection, negotiations, contract administration, and delivery execution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support business objectives.
• Analyze purchasing data, supplier performance metrics, and market trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements while maintaining accurate records.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• 1-3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or project management.
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and procurement best practices.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and strong analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
