US - Sr Engineering Technician

Our client, a leading aerospace and advanced manufacturing company, is seeking a Sr Engineering Technician to join their team. As a Sr Engineering Technician, you will be part of the Engineering Test Lab supporting the Environmental Testing and Product Validation Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr Engineering Technician

Location: Torrance, CA

Pay Range: $35 - $38/hour

What’s the Job?

• Operate and manage environmental testing equipment, including electrodynamic shaker systems and slip tables.
• Set up, program, and execute vibration tests such as sinusoidal, random, structural, and pyro-shock testing.
• Configure mechanical fixtures, amplifiers, and data acquisition systems for test activities.
• Troubleshoot test equipment and systems to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to validate development and flight hardware.

What’s Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4-6 years of experience in engineering, testing, laboratory, manufacturing, or related technical environments.
• Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and operating complex electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make sound technical decisions.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
